Wisdom Tooth Removal

Third molars, commonly known as “Wisdom Teeth”, are the last teeth to erupt into the oral cavity. Given this, they often lack the proper space in the jaw to erupt fully or even at all. The compromised eruption is often associated with several risks such as developing decay, periodontal disease (bone loss), infections, or other pathology. To potentially stave off this result, an extraction of one, several or all of the wisdom teeth may be advised.
